On November 28th 2009, representatives from the Country Fire Authority, Department of Sustainability & Environment and the Mt Buller & Mt Stirling Alpine Resort Management Board will present a 'Fire Ready' talk in preparation for the bushfire season. Topics to be covered include:

• Fire threats and how they can be prevented
• How to prepare buildings
• Developing a bushfire survival plan
• Information and warnings in the event of a bushfire
• Site management

The presentation will go for approximately two hours.

When: Saturday 28th November 2009 at 9.30am (to coincide with the hard waste collection weekend)
Where: Auditorium, Level 4, Buller Community Centre
