The Mt Buller and Mt Stirling Alpine Resort Management Board (‘ARMB') is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI's) to operate scenic helicopter flights and/or tourist transfers to, from and around the Mt Buller Alpine Resort (‘the Resort').
The ARMB will provide an on-mountain location for the service provider to land and collect/disembark passengers. EOI's should give consideration, but not be limited, to the following:
- Customer pricing models and affordability
- Adherence to relevant industry standards and safety regulations
- A demonstrable Safety Management Plan Management of impact on other resort patrons, residents, businesses and the environment
- Snow season offerings and non-snow season offerings
- Transport of passengers between helicopter land site and ultimate Resort destination, with consideration to both snow and non-snow conditions
- Capacity to add value to the Resorts existing visitor experience and product offering.
The ARMB may be willing to consider:
- Offering a supplier exclusivity on Mt Buller
- Assisting with the marketing and promotion of flights
Successful applicants will be required to obtain a Commercial Services License from the ARMB.
The ARMB is under no obligation to and may not necessarily accept any EOI. The ARMB reserves the right to further negotiate with any supplier whom they deem has provided a valid and appropriate proposal.
