The heavy rainfalls received today have triggered a landslip affecting part of the CSIR car park. At this time the police have closed off all access to the CSIR top car park, Corn Hill Road and the Tip Corner Access Track until further notice. With more severe weather forecast for Saturday afternoon and evening, the area is continuing to be assessed for risk and it is anticipated a more detailed assessment will be able to be conducted early in the morning (dependant upon weather conditions). Access to the affected area will be determined following this assessment.

Persons should not attempt to access to affected area and must refrain from trying to circumvent Police cordons.
