CSIR Car Park Status Update # 3 Issued at 09:00 hrs 05/09/10
As outlined in update # 2, a further assessment of risk has been undertaken this morning on the landslip affected areas of the CSIR car park. As a result it has been determined to reopen controlled access to the CSIR top car park as of 09:00 hrs today (Sunday 05/09).

All persons with cars parked within the CSIR car park are required to relocate their vehicle from this area. Taxis and buses will drop passengers and their luggage in a staging area nearby, and one person per vehicle will be permitted to enter the car park and remove their vehicle. Persons continuing to stay on the mountain will be required to move their vehicle to an alternative parking location as directed by Resort Management staff and Police.

There are a small number of damaged vehicles that will require towing. If your vehicle requires towing, please contact Mt Buller Towing on 0458 077 572.

If your vehicle is not drivable and you require transport off the mountain, please contact Mansfield-Mt Buller Bus Lines on 03 5777 6070.
