Mt Buller will welcome some of Australia's finest chamber musicians this January 17-24, when a number of string ensembles visit the Resort for the annual Chamber Music Summer School.
Groups and individuals from amateur to professional levels will enjoy seven days of performance, workshops and tuition designed by Artistic Director Michele Walsh, Senior Lecturer in Violin and Head of Strings at the Queensland Conservatorium at Griffith University. The culmination of the week will be two public performances in the beautiful surrounds of the Mt Buller Alpine Chapel.
Michele said she is looking forward to visiting Mt Buller and working with the groups. "I'm very much looking forward to the Summer School and returning to Mt Buller. It is a fantastic event that attracts a number of talented musicians - and what better place to inspire creativity and learning?"
The public performances will be held at the Mt Buller Alpine Chapel on Friday 22 January at 8.30pm and Saturday 23 January at 3.00pm. For further information visit mtbuller.com.au.
