It was their first visit to Mt Buller and has become a family trip to the snow they will never forget.

Yufang and his wife Sarah joined friends in a day trip from Mansfield to play in the snow with their two kids Lily and Connor this winter.

Lily and Connor had a great time making a snowman and throwing snowballs but it was the decision by Yufang to enter the online competition to win a Holden Captiva that would make it a day out to remember.

"You see these competitions and never think you will know the winner - let alone get the phone call yourself," said a delighted Sarah Mao. "We entered online at mtbuller.com.au and then forgot about it, so Yufang couldn't believe it when he got the amazing news."

"It's a perfect car for our family and we are just thrilled to be picking up the keys today,"

explained Yufang who brought the whole family along to Summit Holden in Brighton to collect their new model, seven-seater diesel Captiva.

"Lily is starting school this year so we will be very popular on the school run with such a comfortable seven seater car!"

Rhylla Morgan, Communications Manager for Buller Ski Lifts congratulated the Mao family on their win and presented a history of Mt Buller and a set of Mt Buller bumper stickers (of course!) ready for their first trip back up to Mt Buller this coming winter in their new car.

Simon Modra, GM Holden's Product Manager for Large Cars and SUV's and the Summit Holden team were on hand on the day to hand over the keys and give Yufang and Sarah a detailed guide to all the new features on their Captiva before they set off on a weekend driving getaway.
