Renowned for its cuisine (especially its legendary smorgasbord dinner on Friday nights) and friendly family atmosphere, the Ajax Ski Club has been part of the Mt. Buller landscape for more than thirty five years, With an extensive upgrade of its facilities in 2004, Ajax is a modern family lodge with a variety of different sized rooms available either as shared accommodation or as a private room. All rooms have private en suite facilities, with linen and towels supplied. After an exhilarating day on the snow, guests are invited to wind down by the comfort of our open fire, retreat to our library mezzanine for some quiet time or maybe relax in our new infra-red sauna. Other facilities include table tennis, pool table, drying room, guest computer, free broadband wireless internet, TV room (47” HD LCD TV) with a DVD player and indoor ski storage.

Ajax is unique on Mt. Buller, being one of the very few lodges on the mountain providing accommodation inclusive of a 3 course meal (licensed for beer and wine) and a cooked breakfast. .AJAX is often regarded as a haven for families that prefer maximum value for their dollar and is conveniently located on Stirling Road with a bus stop directly at the door that provides easy access to and from the Mt Buller Ski School and ski runs. Ajax is only 300 meters from the heart of the village and provides conference facilities and caters for school groups and disabled skiers.

• Child 3-14 years old inclusive
• 0-2 years old not in bed = $30 per night
• Disabled access and facilities.

BOOKING/ CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

PAYMENTS:
Weekends - 100% payable immediately booking is made
Mid-week - 50% payable immediately booking is made with final balance paid 4 weeks prior to arrival
Reservations will be cancelled and deposits forfeited if monies are not received by the due date.

CANCELLATIONS:
Written cancellations up to 4 weeks prior to arrival date are accepted and refunds of deposits given subject to a cancellation fee of 10% of the total tariff.
Cancellations within 4 weeks prior to arrival date are not accepted and no refunds will be given unless ski guarantee related. Ski Guarantee related cancellations will incur a handling fee of $100.00 per booking.

INSURANCE:
We strongly recommend insurance against the loss of deposit in the event of having to cancel your reservation for whatever reason

SKI GUARANTEE:
Provided by Buller Ski Lifts and most of Mt Buller's accommodation houses, a "ski guarantee" package gives you a money-back guarantee on all pre-paid accommodation, lift ticket and lesson packages in the event that insufficient snow cover prevents our "ski guarantee" lifts from operating within three days of your scheduled arrival date. The "ski guarantee" covers a wide range of beginner and intermediate ski areas.

The lifts covered by the guarantee are:

• Blue Bullet
• Holden Express

And two of the following:

• Wombat
• Emirates
• Summit
• Koflers
• Chamois

Please note that the following conditions may apply:

• Lift closure due to weather
• Mechanical breakdowns or equipment failure
• Retail tickets purchased from mountain sales office
• Booking fees or commissions payable
