Hot on the heels of the largest and one of the most prestigious mountain festivals in the world, the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour is set to land at Mt Buller for a special one-night screening on June 23.
Taking in more than 275 communities in 30 countries across the globe, the tour features a collection of inspiring and thought-provoking films, from skiing, snowboarding and ice climbing to BASE jumping, mountain biking and the alpine environment. The tour is produced by Mountain Culture at The Banff Centre in Canada, an organization that promotes understanding, appreciation and education on the world's mountain areas.
Films will be shown at the Mt Buller Cinema, the only cinema of its kind at any Australian ski resort. The bar opens at 6.30pm, and the movies start at 7pm. Prizes, giveaways, fun, laughter, exhilaration and admiration are all part of this great night. Bring a group and get ready to show your appreciation at full volume.
