BIKE BULLER SHUTTLE - NEW IN 2012!

Mt Buller's downhill trails have traditionally only been available when the Horse Hill Chairlift has been in operation (Boxing Day until January 29).

In summer 2012, Mt Buller Resort Management will launch an
awesome new Bike Buller Shuttle service, which means you'll be able to ride the downhill network even when the lift stops running!

The shuttle service will commence operation on Saturday 4 February and will run every weekend until the end of April (weather permitting), excluding the Labour Day and Easter long weekends.

  • Service operates from 10am-4pm on Saturday and Sunday
  • Buses with trailers leave from the Lower Tyrol Car Park near the bottom of the downhill course, and take you to Spurs Car Park right at the top of the trails
  • The shuttles run on a continuous loop, so no need to worry
  • about meeting bus timetables

The downhill trails will only be open on weekends, supported by the shuttle service and medical patrol services.

HOW MUCH IS A SHUTTLE PASS?

You can buy a shuttle pass from the Clock Tower Information Centre located in the Mt Buller Village Square, which is open from 9:30am-3:30pm on weekends. Shuttle Pass Prices:

  • One-day pass - $48 per person
  • Two-day weekend pass - $86 per person

Passes are only valid on the days that you purchase them, and are not transferable between riders. You must have a valid pass in order to ride the shuttle bus.

WHERE DO I LEAVE MY CAR?

You have three options:

  1. Park your car in the Mt Buller Village and buy your pass from the Clock Tower. From there you can easily jump onto the Copperhead trail, Mt Buller's newest gravity offering, which will take you to the bottom of the downhill network. Then you can catch the bus back up to the top and continue riding.
  2. Drive down the Mt Buller Rd to Lower Tyrol Car Park, where you can leave your car for the day. This is where the shuttle leaves from, so it's really accessible, allowing you to jump on the bus and head back up to the top of the trails.
  3. Drive up Summit Rd and park your car outside the Arlberg Hotel before riding across to Spurs and jumping onto the trails. You will then meet the shuttle at the bottom of the course.

Please note that general traffic is not permitted to park at Spurs Car Park this summer due to construction of the new northside chairlift.
