Snowshoeing Donning a pair of
snowshoes is the perfect way to explore the winter wonderland that is Mt
Buller. Suitable for all ages, snowshoeing is as easy as walking.
Whether you want to trek to the summit to watch a glorious sunset or
explore the Mt Buller backcountry playground with deep snow among the
trees, you'll discover a side of the mountain you haven't seen before.

Tobogganing People of all ages love
the thrill of tobogganing! Mt Buller has two designated toboggan areas -
one located in the day car park next to Celia's Kiosk and the other
next to the Post Office in the Village. Toboggans are available for hire
from most on-mountain rental outlets.

Scenic Chairlift
You don't have to be a skier or boarder to explore the mountain!
Simply jump on either the Horse Hill or Blue Bullet chairlifts and enjoy
a breathtaking ride across Mt Buller's slopes.
The Horse Hill Chairlift on the northern slope departs from the day
car park and will take you to Spurs Restaurant. The Blue Bullet
Chairlift runs directly above Bourke Street, allowing you to watch all
of the on-slope action.

Climbing & abseiling Reach new heights at Mt Buller's
indoor rock climbing and abseiling facility. The 16-metre indoor
climbing wall offers number of routes with varying degrees of
difficulty.
Or head outdoors to Elephant Cliff at Mt Buller or nearby Cathedral
Ranges for rock climbing and abseiling in the natural environment.

Gymnasium Challenge your guests!
Work with fully qualified fitness professionals at the Mt Buller
Gymnasium, with international standard equipment including treadmills,
exercise bikes, steppers, machine and free weights, boxing equipment and
plyometric rowers.

Horse riding Horse riding is an
activity that is only available at Mt Stirling, Mt Buller's neighbour,
providing you with a great way to explore the high country like the
cattlemen of old. Saddle up and roam freely along mountain ridges or
through wide-open fields and thick forest gorges. Guided tours with
local horsemen can be tailored to suit all ages and abilities, including
day trips and overnight treks. Scenic trails leading to Craig's Hut and
the Stirling Summit are always popular, offering great views of the
surrounding region. You can even enjoy wineries by horseback!

Summer
Mountain biking Hire a duel suspension mountain bike and grab a tour guide to feel the freedom and exhilaration of pedal power in this stunning alpine environment. There is something for everyone. Beginners can take the chairlift to the Horse Hill downhill trail.
Or for a bigger challenge, take on the Delatite River Trail, which crosses the Delitite River 12 times! Finish the day with your feet in the river at Mirimbah Park, sipping a drink and enjoying a picnic amongst towering Alpine Ash trees.

Road Cycling Test your strength and endurance by cycling up the Mt Buller Tourist Road - a 16-kilometer uphill grind. You can start at the base of the mountain or take off from Mansfield and enjoy easy rolling hills and great views on your approach to Mt Buller.

Fly fishing Fly fishing is a popular sport in the area and a great way to enjoy the tranquility of the North East streams. You can experience these scenic spots independently or take advantage of a professional fishing instructor.
