Mt Buller has a range of conference and function venues to suite all tastes and budgets.
Our properties range from venues that are suitable for large groups and provide state of the art audio visual facilities, conference and break-out rooms and an excellent range of hotel faciities and services, to venues that are suitable for smaller groups and provide great value for money.
We have broken them down into categories for you, so you can click through to select the perfect venue for your next function.
Alpine Chapel - a truly unique wedding venue nestled in the snow gums in the heart of Mt Buller with stunning views across the mountains. The church is non-denominational so you are welcome to provide your own celebrant or minister, and it can comfortably seat up to 120 guests. Guests are encouraged to arrange their own sound and floral arrangements and the fee for the hire of the Chapel is $150.
Alpine Central - is the hub around which conferencing and meetings take place on Mt Buller. Featuring a range of flexible meeting spaces, a 180 seat auditorium, and indoor sporting facilities, Alpine Central will ensure your conference meets your delegate’s needs.
Auditorium and Cinema - the 180 seat auditorium is suitable for presentations, lectures and workshops. It is equipped with a data projector and big screen. The auditorium transforms into a cinema with BluRay high-definition technology and a digital cinema projector available for hire.
Function and Dining Rooms - a selection of function and dining rooms are available on Mt Buller ranging from bistro style to fine dining options catering for 50 - 500 diners. Whether you are planning a large function, or an intimate gathering Mt Buller properties offer a range of options.

Meeting and Breakout Rooms - a range of meeting rooms are available, that can host 10-200 delegates. Hire includes data projector and whiteboard if required.
Bourke Street Run - located on Bourke Street ski run in the heart of the Mt Buller Village, the space is a unique natural ampitheatre with immediate access to Resort facilities including bars, restaurants and accommodation.
Chairlift - in winter the chairlift operates every day, and in summer can be hired to make your event one with a difference.
Mirimbah Park - located at the base of Mt Buller and by the side of the Delatite River, Mirimbah Park is a beautiful spot for a summer wedding - the rippling river, shady trees and wide open areas are the perfect canvas for your garden function. The spacious site allows for large marquees to be erected, offers ample parking for vehicles, both within the event site, and in overflow parking located nearby and the generous shade of the mature trees provides a beautiful backdrop for the most special of occasions.
Mt Buller Village - located at a cool 1600 metres, the Mt Buller Village is truly unique in Australia - the resort can be as much as ten degrees cooler than the lowlands in summer. Mt Buller is quieter in the summer months, which provides a tranquil setting where banners and flags can be displayed around the Village to make the event stand out.
Mt Buller Village Stage - located in the heart of the Mt Buller Village Square and circled by bars, restaurants and retail outlets, the Village Square stage is a permanent structure that comes equipped with a PA and lighting. It is ideal for a DJ, band or special performance. An audience of over 1000 will be easily accommodated with the Village Square surrounds.
Toboggan Slope - during summer the toboggan run becomes a welcoming grassy field, creating a natural amphitheatre with a relaxed outdoor atmosphere. The Slopeside Amphitheatre will comfortably seat an audience of 500, and is within walking distance to all the Resort's facilities.
Gymnasium - is a purpose built training venue, located within the Alpine Central building. The gym features a range of state of the art equipment, as well as stationary bikes and rowers and is available for individual or group training sessions. In summer the gym can be hired as a venue for your sporting group, where you can bring in your own staff and maximise your opportunities to train in the alpine environment. In winter the gym operates seven days a week and qualified staff are on hand at all times to assist individual workout sessions. After hours the gym can be hired by groups looking to further their training opportunities.
Indoor Rock Climbing - is available upon request at the Sports Hall located within Alpine Central.
Sports Hall - facilities include two courts suitable for tennis, basketball, netball or indoor soccer and a four station rock-climbing wall. Courts can be hired separately or as a whole, and are a great way to create an activity zone to entertain kids, use a wet weather alternative for large groups, or training sessions for your sporting group. A favourite with kids the Mt Buller jumping castle is also available for hire.
