Resort Management developed and endorsed a Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP) with WBM Oceanics in 2005. This was part of a statewide Government initiative to reduce the environmental impacts of urban stormwater run-off on the quality of receiving waters. This project was being jointly funded by the Mt Buller and Mt Stirling Alpine Resort Management Board, the Goulburn-Broken Catchment Management Authority and the Environment Protection Authority. Implementation of the first year of the plan is being undertaken during 2006-2007.
