What clothing do I need to bring?

Mountain>First Timer Info>What clothing do I need to bring?

You can make your Mt Buller experience more enjoyable by ensuring you have the right clothing and stay warm and dry. Make sure you dress in layers with good waterproof clothing for the outside layer, and don't forget a beanie or helmet as 50 per cent of body heat escapes through the head.

Waterproof pants and warm jackets are available for hire or purchase from Mansfield or shops in the Village.

A checklist of items you should bring includes:

  1. Waterproof pants (or overalls) and jacket (available for hire)
  2. Ski goggles and sunglasses
  3. Waterproof ski gloves or mittens
  4. Woollen hat or fleece
  5. Warm jumper and underclothing
  6. Sunscreen and lip balm
  7. Skivvy or t-shirt
