2008 Deluxe Man From Snowy River / Winery Ride

Mt Buller Winery Package
Enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Victorian High Country upon horse back in "Man From Snowy River" country. This 2 hour Ride will offer fabulous views and the chance look down the face of the cliff face the Man From Snowy River galloped his famous decent.
The ride will finish at the magnificent Kinloch Winery where you will be treated to a well deserved gourmet regional platter, complimented by a glass of premium cool climate wine. Your adventure will continue to the Delatite Winery and the Buller View Winery, and you will have the opportunity to the purchase some wine to take home.
This Package includes:

2 nights accommodation at the Arlberg Hotel in a standard alpine room
2 hour Horse Ride with Watsons Riding Tours
Gourmet Regional Platter and a glass of Kinloch Wine
Transfers to and from Mt Buller / The Arlberg

Mt Buller Winery Package

Enjoy a weekend of self indulgence at Mt Buller, complete with luxury accommodation, massages and a spectacular horseback winery tour. Stay in a self-contained luxury studio apartment at the Breathtaker All Suite Hotel & Alpine Spa Retreat, one of Mt Buller’s premier properties, and make the most of a hearty continental breakfast served daily in your apartment, a half hour relaxing massage and complimentary use of the hotel’s water experience pool and spa area.
Then saddle up like cattleman of old and explore the magnificent High Country on horseback. On the two-hour horse ride you will see the region made famous by iconic Australian movie The Man From Snowy River, including the area where the thrilling downhill horse riding scene was filmed. The ride finishes at the boutique Kinloch Winery where you will enjoy a gourmet regional platter of food, matched with a glass of premium cool climate wine. You will then be transported to the Delatite and Buller View Wineries, continuing your culinary adventure. The tour concludes with return transfer from Mt Buller.

Downhill Adventure - From January onwards

Tackle the downhill course in the day and then relax at night with a tasty meal lining your stomach!

One full day of Down Hill Mountain Bike hire with full face helmet supplied, and all-day mountain biking lift pass for access on the Horsehill Chairlift.
A two-night stay in motel-style accommodation at Mt Buller’s Alpine Retreat. Rooms are ensuited and all linen & towels are supplied

Buller Beer Fest - Saturday January 12

Picnic in the Park - Saturday 9th March

Laze away your Sunday with Picnic in the Park, a gourmet food and wine festival. Picnic in the Park is held at the beautiful Mirimbah Park, on the banks of the Delatite River at the base of Mt Buller, allowing you to relax on the grass as you soak up the free music and entertainment.

High Country Autumn Festival - Labour Day Weekend

Head to Mt Buller on the Labour Day long weekend and experience the best of what the High Country has to offer. During this time, the region hosts an Autumn Festival that features several sensational events including Market on the Median, Merrijig Twilight Rodeo and Picnic in the Park, ensuring that there is something to suit everyone
On Saturday, take in the thrills and spills of the Merrijig Twilight Rodeo, which attracts Australia's best riders for a day of tough competition. Now in its 31st year, this spectacular event features local characters, cowboys, an abundance of colour and an old fashioned good time!
The following day, spend a lazy afternoon at Picnic in the Park, a gourmet food and wine festival held at Mirimbah Park at the base of Mt Buller. Sample local produce and wine as you relax on the grass and enjoy live entertainment with family and friends. Transfers are provided to both events.
