Do I need a lesson?

Mountain>First Timer Info>Do I need a lesson?

Lessons are a great way to learn the basics or develop more advanced skills, and the experienced instructors at the Mt Buller Ski & Snowboard School will ensure you have heaps of fun while improving your technique. The school has programs for everyone from children to adults, and beginners to experts.

If this is your first time on skis or a board, you may Discover Mt Buller with a free beginner lesson which is included within the cost of your lift ticket. Just ask for a Discover Skiing or Boarding package at the ticket office or any Buller Sports outlet. It includes a two-hour Discover (First and Second Timers: Level 1 & 2) lesson and the use of seven beginner lifts. Discover lessons are held at 9am, 11am, 1.30pm and 10am on weekends. Children's discover lessons are held at 11am only.

Three-hour group lessons for those at levels 3-6 (intermediate) are held at 10am and 1.30pm daily. Lessons for levels 7 and 8 are held at 10am.
