Join us on top of the world in 2008

Dear members of the media,

It’s shaping up to be one of the biggest winter seasons ever at Mt Buller as we countdown to the opening of our second new chairlift in four years.

The $6 million Holden Chairlift is Australia’s only six-seater and it will carry its first skiers and boarders when the 2008 ski season gets underway on June 7.

It’s been a busy summer in the resort as we’ve also expanded our snowmaking, completed landscaping works at Athlete’s Walk, extended snowplay areas and worked to reduce our carbon footprint.

With long-range forecasters predicting substantial snowfalls in late May, we’re hoping for a repeat of the 2000 season when there was 80cm on the ground at the start of June.

New to the marketing teams at Buller Ski Lifts this winter,  I have joined BSL as Communications Manager and look forward to answering any media queries you may have.
