A new position for 2020, the Air Slide crew brings to life Buller Air Zone, Snow Play Parks and events.

 Buller Air Zone is an indoor trampoline and rock-climbing centre, plus forms a part of the Olympic Winter Institute of Australia training facility. Our snow play parks are where many guests enjoy their first snow experiences, usually tobogganing. 

Events include helping to create atmosphere in the Village Square alongside live music performances.  

Your job at these facilities is to ensure the safe operation of all equipment, set up and pack down, manage venue capacity, front of house, active supervision and occasionally provide basic first aid.  

Air Slide Crew members are the key point of contact for our guests. Our teams consist of people with outstanding customer service skills and a strong commitment to the highest levels of safety. They’re enthusiastic, thrive on face to face contact with our guests and love working in this amazing alpine environment. 

This position offers very competitive wages, on mountain accommodation is available or daily transport from Mansfield.

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

  • Hold a current Working with Children’s Check and First Aid level 2 or are willing to obtain by 5 June 2020
  • Be physically fit and in good health – Air Slide Crew need to be able to climb, balance, kneel, crouch, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, hear, see, carry and use repetitive motions, as needed
  • The ability to work outside in the alpine environment and variable weather conditions
  • Have a positive attitude
  • Be customer service focused
  • Be at least 16 years old

Previous experience in climbing gyms and/or trampoline centres or mountain operations are highly desirable.
