The Ski Club of Victoria is looking for an experienced Front Office Manager to lead our small team into the Winter 2022 ski season. This is a seasonal role made avail due to maternity leave. The role begins in Jan 2022 through to the end of the ski season (approx. end of September) with opportunities to extend for the right candidate. 

The SCV is the oldest alpine club in Victoria and is located in the beautiful Mount Buller Village just minutes away from the main ski runs, bars and restaurants. Onsite accommodation is available for a discounted fee & couple applications will be considered if accompanied along with F&B management or duty manager experience.

Ideally, we are looking for a fun loving, hardworking personality who isn’t afraid to have a chat to our members. Experience in a similar role is essential and great attention to detail and administration skill are required. 

The successful candidate will have sound knowledge of all MS Office programs, Outlook and experience using a property management system and channel manager. 

You will be responsible for supporting the General Manager in the daily operations of the front office, including support and training of the front office team. You will monitor all arrivals and departures and communicate with relevant teams to ensure smooth daily operations.


Other Responsibilities. 


Maintaining guest and member accounts and relevant information during their visit, ensuring charges are posted.

Employee rostering in accordance with forecasting.

Ensure accuracy of all reservations and payments.

Maintain accurate information in our membership database.

Contribute to maximum occupancy and revenue of the accommodation division by maintaining accurate rooms inventory and through effective utilisation of room rates and yield strategies.

Assist in all marketing correspondents, social media and EDM’s.
