Walk & Hike

There is so much to love about the late summer season up here in the high country. Just because you’re back at work and the kids are back at school it doesn’t mean the fun has to stop. To help you hold onto those sweet summer vibes we’ve got a few suggestions:
Now the smoke has cleared it’s a perfect time to #rollonback up to Mt Buller and Mt Stirling and discover the cross country and gravity trails. If the recent Jayco Herald Sun cycle tour got you inspired to slip on some lycra and tackle a hill climb there is 16kms of scenic twists and turns up the Mt Buller road waiting for you too!
Basically, if you enjoy time on two wheels you’ve got some great choices with everything from first-timer mountainbike fun on the friendly village Billy Buttons beginner loop to adrenaline-soaked gravity moments.
Pick your distance and experience the high of running at altitude with the annual Mt Buller Sky Run. Run with a view on courses that stretch between Mt Buller and Mt Stirling with options including a 22km, 36km or a 45km course for those with staying power.
