Season Membership FAQ

2021 Season Memberships Early Bird Sales ends 31 October. After 31 October Buller Ski Lifts will pause 2021 Season Membership sales until further notice.

 

Yes. Buller Ski Lifts (BSL) is offering all 2020 Season Members the choice of how much they contribute in 2020, or receive a credit or refund of the purchase price regardless of how many days used.

BSL considered carefully how to recover some of its costs and at the same time treat loyal Season Members fairly. Various options considered included a ‘day’s used’ and a pro-rata ‘days of lift operation’ approach, however neither of these felt completely fair for everybody.

With no suitable ‘one-size-fits-all’ answer BSL ultimately decided the fairest way was to give Season Members the choice of how much to contribute for the season.

The BSL team did everything in possible to deliver the best possible mountain experiences this winter. We take pride that Mt Buller was the only Australian resort not to restrict access to its valued Season Members. We worked tirelessly against a backdrop of a global pandemic to get open, to stay open and to deliver a positive and safe experience for 44 days.

We know many of you understand and appreciate these efforts and in turn wish to show your support for our mountain in 2020 and to renew your Membership/s for 2021.

Some Members were fortunate to enjoy all 44 days of lift operations, others spent fewer days on the slopes and unfortunately many were compelled to stay home all season. Therefore, we decided every Member would be equally entitled to a credit or refund and to choose what amount is fair and reasonable based on your appreciation of your 2020 Membership/s during this unusual year.

You were sent an email from Mt Buller “Your 2020 and 2021 Season memberships – your choice” on 1 September with details.

All applications must be submitted by 31 October, 2020.

We will commence processing refunds and credits from 1st October and expect to complete requests by 31 October, 2020. If you have submitted the online form you don’t need to do anything at this time. Thank you for your understanding as our small team processes each application individually.

• 2020 Season Members seeking a full or partial refund must apply by 31 October, 2020.

• 2020 Season Members wishing to rollover credit to access the exclusive Early Bird saving for 2021 Membership (Adults at $799 and Kids at $499) must apply by 31 October, 2020.

If you would like to receive a credit or refund and have not yet applied please complete the online form. We will commence processing refunds and credits from 1st October and expect to complete requests by 31 October, 2020.
