About the event
2025 King's Birthday Weekend
Welcome the official launch of the 2025 snow season this King's Birthday long weekend with a 3-day weekend of alpine festivities and fun.
Mt Buller offers guaranteed skiing from Saturday 7th of June, so it's time to plan your visit and join us in the village and on the slopes.
Keep an eye out for more details on the growing schedule of opening weekend celebrations right here - the program will start to snowball as we get closer to GO time!
SATURDAY 7TH JUNE
Bourke Street
8:30am First chair @ Bourke Street Express.
Be among the first to make some turns for the season and we'll see you at the front of the line for first chair for 2025! You might just be rubbing shoulders with Winter Olympians, locals and legends as we celebrate the start of season together.
10am-4pm The Buller Biathlon will be taking place in the Sports Hall.
11am-12pm Warren Smith performs on the Village Stage.
12:30-1:30pm Warren Smith takes the stage again for set #2.
1-3pm FREE toasted marshmallows in the village. Fire pits will also be running to help toast.
2-2:30pm Animals of the Magical Mountain Show on the Village Stage.
3-4pm Piero performs on the Village Stage.
4-4:15pm The Opening Declaration for the 2025 winter season on the Village Stage.
4.15-5:45pm Nite Theory take over for a set on the Village Stage.
5:45-6pm A huge fireworks display in the village.
6-7pm Jake Webb performs on the Village Stage..
Buller Air Zone will also be open throughout the weekend. Check bookings online for times and availability.
