"Godfather of Australian Whisky”, Bill Lark shares his world renowned whisky with Mt Buller.
What: Come and enjoy a selection of Tasmanian Whisky presented by Bill Lark with accompanied foods by executive chef Ross O'Meara.
When: Thursday 4th August, 3pm-5pm

Whilst running the Creek Inn (North Tasmanian Ski Fields) alongside three other families, Bill Lark with wife Lyn established Lark Distillery in May 1992. Founding member of the Australian Distillers Association and The Tasmanian Whisky Producers Association, Bill became affectionately known as the "Godfather of Australian Whisky". After a slew of awards between 2013 and 2015 Bill was inducted, no. 28 however 1st in Australia, into the World Whisky Awards Hall of Fame in the UK.
Today, Lark Distillery has been nominated as one of the top 4 distilleries for Worldwide Whisky Producer of the Year (IWSC). It boasts being the first certified carbon neutral distillery in Australia and continues to be one of Australia's most famous whiskies.
