About the event
Subaru Victorian Interschools Cross Country Championships 2017
Course Relocation - Update 4th August
Please be advised that due to the Bureau of Meteorology forecasting North Westerly wind gusts up to 110kph on Sunday the 6th of August and associated concerns about public safety, the 2017 Subaru Victorian Interschools XC Championship course has been relocated to the Village Circuit track loop. In addition, presentations will now take place in the Alpine Central Sports Hall.

Ever since their addition to the Victorian Interschools Snowsports Championships the Cross Country disciplines of Cross Country Classical and Cross Country Relay (a skate event) have been very popular. They have also served as very important means of introducing many Victorian school children to the sport of Cross Country Skiing.
Over many years Mt Buller has provided a wonderful venue for this competition, and many of the sport's elite athletes have risen through the various Interschools Age Divisions and gone on to represent Australia at World Cups, World Championships, and also the Olympics.
