13th Annual Burton Cattleman's Rail Jam

It's that time of year!

Australia’s premier rail event, the Burton Cattleman’s Rail Jam, is set to send the village into meltdown on Saturday, July 21st.

For the 13^th year, Australia’s best snowboarders will roll into Mt Buller village to compete in the country’s longest running snowboarding rail event for a share of  $10,000 worth of cash and prizes. It's challenging, it's intense and the spectacle is something you will want to see live!

However, if you can't make it Burton is offering a  new viewing experience, live-casting the action on the Burton Australia Facebook page. All the action will start LIVE from 6pm, including a wrap of up the day’s qualifiers, at facebook.com/burtonaustralianz.

From 2pm, the Mt Buller Village Square transforms into a qualification battleground, with a qualifying jam session taking place on a refined Cattleman’s rail set up. The top 10 qualifiers from the day’s heats will compete against previous competition winners, including five-time champion Jye Kearney, previous champion Sam ‘Reddog’ Nuemann and last year’s runner up Andy James, for a share of the $10K prize pool, as well as the Monster Energy Best Trick award.

G-Shock are offering the ‘G-Shock Tough’ award, a new accolade offering the most committed, hardest charging rider on the night a limited edition Burton x G-Shock watch valued at $750.  We assume it's a pretty tough watch that can withstand some rail jam action!
