2017 Peak Pics Winner announced!

Every year the bar is raised that bit higher with entrants in to the Mt Buller Peak Pics competition showcasing some incredibly creative photography skills! The judges sure had their work cut out for them this year, working through the incredible submissions to come to one overall winner, plus one for each of the four categories.

This year 200 entries were submitted into the competition across the four categories - Action, Landscape, Light and People under the overarching theme of “Right place, right time”. Check them out below

All category winners and the People’s Choice winner will take home a 2018 Mt Buller resort entry and parking pass thanks to the Mt Buller & Mt Stirling Resort Management.

Winners were determined by a judging panel of seven comprising of:

• Tony “Harro” Harrington – sensei big mountain and surf photographer and brain child of Buller X
• Andrew “Rails” Railton – APPA award winning Mt Buller resort photographer
• Mark “Woody” Woodsford – authentic Mt Buller resident and guru lens man
• Sealey Brandt – critically acclaimed black and white portrait photographer
• Kit Rundal – Mt Buller guru lens man
• Lizzie Hart – Mt Buller Arts Association
• Colin Hyett -  Mt Buller based artist and Mt Buller Arts Association

Winning images and runners up (two per category) will be printed and framed and form the Peaks Pics exhibition to be displayed in Alpine Central prior to the end of the 2017 winter season.
