51cm of fresh snow straight from an Antarctic storm

If ever there was a sign for you to take a snow holiday, this is it! 51cm of fresh snow fell across Mt Buller and more runs were opened as fast as safely possible to the delight of skiers and boarders.

The smiles were huge on the faces of everyone on-mountain when they received the weekend delivery of snow from the huge storm system straight from Antarctica. It totally dumped!

The freezing polar air gave snowmakers the opportunity to switch on the guns and add even more depth to the snowpack. The snowgums turned into funky ice sculptures and the entire mountain was painted white.

A huge thank you to Mountain Operations crew who have been working non-stop opening more lifts, more trails and are still working hard to get more ready for opening ASAP.

What's open?

To add to Bourke Street, ABOM, Gliders, Skyline, Summit and Koflers which were already running, you can also now:

• Carve down Family Run to Howqua chair lift
• Burnt Hut is ready to roll on with Bonza chair spinning
• Tirol T-bar is turning from mid-way
• And Southside kicked off today opening up another accessible chunk of the mountain
