Mt Buller welcomed a cold blast of winter this morning, having received another dusting of snow overnight. With only 30 days to go until the official 2015 season opening, the countdown continues with hope that more snow will fall in the following days.
Victoria is facing a series of cold fronts which are bringing icy temperatures, strong winds and heavy snow to the Alps right throughout the week. The snow is the welcome sight for the resort, as Mt Buller is busy preparing for the Opening Weekend, which takes place over the Queen's Birthday long weekend on 6 June. The Opening Weekend is jammed packed with free activities and celebrations planned throughout the Mt Buller Village.
