24 June - Happy faces on Bourke Street this morning as the first skiers and boarders for the 2020 season hopped on Bourke Street Express in the sunshine!
Physical distancing was the name of the game with just 3 people per 6-seater chair and 1.5m spaced out between the queue lines.
The Snow Factories have been on full operation in recent weeks and delivered the goods with one ski line down Bourke Street groomed in overnight.
From today visitors to the resort will receive an SMS notification to generate a streamlined QR code registration process on arrival in resort. The new technology will eventually also extend to some dining venues making registration, and important contact tracing, simple and effective.
Please note there is currently NO tobogganing at Mt Buller and Mt Stirling until further notice.
