Thursday 21 August 12pm: The inaugural Buller X extreme freeride event is now ON. A mild spring day and deep snow cover has allowed the conditions to align and green-light this exciting new event. Elite big mountain skiers and snowboarders will take on the challenge of the steep and daunting chutes off the Mt Buller summit.
Judged on their best run of just two descents through the technical course all runs will be available to view online later today.

Spectators will take in the action from Family Run and will also enjoy good views as they ride up the Howqua chairlift.
