Buller Ski Lifts is pleased to announce a partnership with INEOS Automotive ahead of the official start of the 2023 winter season.
Initially, INEOS will supply two Grenadier Station Wagons that will be put to work across the resort supporting outdoor operations and personnel transport. The vehicles are ideally suited to the challenging alpine conditions and will be put through their paces in all seasons, with plans to grow the partnership.
“The INEOS Grenadier is an uncompromising 4X4 built from the ground up, engineered to overcome all conditions – making it the perfect vehicle to take on the rugged and challenging terrain of Mt Buller,” said Justin Hocevar, Head of Region, APAC, at INEOS Automotive. “With best-in-class off-road capability, durability, and reliability, we’re confident it will become a dependable working tool for the team at the resort, wherever they are on the mountain and whatever the weather.”
“The partnership with INEOS Automotive will truly establish the Grenadier as the High Country’s workhorse,” said Noel Landry, General Manager of Buller Ski Lifts. “From helping us transport the snowmaking team in winter, to maintaining lifts and equipment in hard-to-reach alpine settings over summer, not to mention taking mountain bike riders up to the Australian Alpine Epic Trail in green season – we love that this partnership is suited to supporting the community who live, work and play on the mountain.”
For INEOS Automotive, the partnership embodies its ongoing commitment to sport, adventure and exploration, sitting alongside its existing global partnerships with the likes of the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 team, INEOS Britannia sailing, All Blacks Rugby and the INEOS Grenadiers cycling team.
Guests will be able to get a peek at the new INEOS Grenadiers on the mountain during the official King’s Birthday weekend celebrations from 10 June 2023.
