With the style and flare that it’s known for, the 2024 Junior National Moguls Championships “jNats” ran last Saturday 10 August on the Chamois slope, presented by major sponsor Adams Real Estate.

Tom Luscombe inverting over Chamois run
The heats ran during the day powered by sunshine, and the finals were held at night under lights in a fun atmosphere that kept the top-eight athletes from each division and all the spectators in high spirits. Competitors were able to showcase their skill and speed on the longest jNats course in history – 199m in length and two jumps in which inverts, rotations and grabs could be mixed up to display their best tricks for the judges.

Congratulations to all competitors and division winners on such a great day on the mountain.
Georgia Bolton mach-ing it down the moguls
The Junior division (born January 1, 2005 to Dec 31, 2010) was won by Tom Luscombe and Georgia Bolton, who put down the highest scoring runs in the final round to record victory.
In the Youth division (born January 1, 2011, or later), Isabella Lim and Alfie Turner won both the qualifying and final rounds for their first ever jNats win.

This is the first time jNats has been run since 2022, with last year’s event cancelled due to difficult snow conditions. jNats serves as a great warm-up for events to come like interschools and ABOM Challenge.
A big thank you to everyone who made the day possible – event naming rights sponsor Adams Estate Agents who put up $2000 in prizemoney, and awesome goggles from Out of Optics, and the support from Mt Buller, TBR Coaches, Judges and Volunteers.
