3 Dec 2025: A gravity shuttle bus service will complement weekend chairlift operations, adding more days of uplift for riders hitting the gravity mountain bike trails this season.
The gravity shuttle service starts this weekend (6-7 Dec) servicing the northside gravity zone including Copperhead and Outlaw intermediate trails and the iconic ABOM and International advanced trails. Pick ups available between 10am – 4pm with day passes now on sale.
The Northside Express chairlift is set to roll for sightseeing and mountain bikes from Saturday 27 December with newly installed bike carriers for safe and swift rides to Spurs café and the top of the trails.
All Terrain Cycles are popping up a summer store at Spurs café that will open along with the chairlift and café offering bike rentals, spares and a mountain of biking intel and advice from the ATC team. Owner Shannon Rademaker is excited for the summer,
“It’s great to have the lift rolling again and we’re stoked to offer riders everything they’ll need from a rental bike to local advice or help with a repair to keep them riding. We’re perfectly positioned at the top of the lift and it’s going to be a great vibe with the café, our team kitting riders out and those amazing views across the valley. I’m glad to see a renewed focus on riding at Mt Buller to bring new riders up and encourage others to come back and see the changes” he said.
Spurs café will open alongside the Northside Express Chairlift offering light meals, snacks, coffee and cool drinks from 27 December.
Riders simply purchase an uplift pass – available as single, multiday or season pass – which is valid on both the chairlift or gravity shuttles, depending on which is operating. In general, the chairlift will roll on weekends with the gravity shuttles doing pick-ups on Fridays and Mondays. The chairlift will operate continuously between Sat 27 December – Sun 11 January.
To reflect the increased uplift days included the Season Pass pricing has been adjusted to Adult $549 and Child $439. Existing winter Season Members can buy a summer season pass add on for just Adult $349 and Child $279 giving unlimited chairlift/gravity shuttle rides for the summer.
Single ride passes for shuttle pick-ups from the Mirimbah store up to Mt Buller are available from Saturday 6 December with regular Fri – Mon services operating from Fri 12 December for $30 per transfer. This is a popular service for riders coming down the Delatite River Trail from Mt Buller and hikers heading down Klingsporn Track. Mirimbah shuttle services are not included in the gravity uplift day and season passes.
The gravity shuttles and Mirimbah services are provided by local operator – BusFleet – who run the winter village services at Mt Buller. Busfleet’s Director Neil Geddes is eager to provide more services to green season visitors,
“We love riding these trails and embracing cool experiences ourselves, and my team are excited to bring a quality service to riders so they can squeeze more laps into their ride days,” he said.
“Our drivers are knowledgeable and love sharing the high country with everyone who visits. Green season up here is a bit of a local secret, and I hope that by providing convenient connections between the valley and the mountain we can help people discover more of what this beautiful area has to offer.”
Chairlift and gravity shuttle operations vary across the season to meet demand and are focused on peak holiday weeks and weekends. Check the uplift page for a detailed calendar on chairlift and shuttle services across the season.
