Mt Buller Mt Stirling Resort Management is committed to the health and well-being of all guests, employees and our community.
We urge everyone to continue to follow the government directives regarding non-essential travel and social distancing for your own safety and for those around you. Mt Buller and Mt Stirling provide opportunities for people in the local area to undertake independent activities outdoors and the road to Mt Stirling and Mt Buller remains open.
The guidance applicable from 12 May from the state government advises outdoor activities and exercise should only be with groups of family and friends of less than 10 and social spacing is to be observed. No camping or overnight travel is allowed.
The latest update does indicate that day trips are now possible, although they clarify, "You can drive to a location to exercise. As always though, Victorians are being asked to use common sense when it comes to travelling. If you can walk or exercise near your home, you should." [Dept of Health guidelines]
The ski area at Mt Buller is not open for skiing and boarding at this time and is not being patrolled. There is construction work taking place on the mountain and unmarked hazards and trenches. Tobogganning is not permitted on the ski area at any time as it poses serious dangers.
The Resort Management can be reached on 03 5777 6077 during office hours for enquiries.
