20 June 2018: To celebrate the shortest day of the year Mt Buller is opening up it's longest ski run!
Wombat chair is set to roll on Thursday 21 June on the day that marks the mid-point in the winter. The chair opens up access to the ever-popular Wombat and Little Buller Spur runs.
Little Buller Spur is the resort's longest run and is a favourite for many skiers and boarders who revel in the sweeping wide run that allows long carving turns along it's leg-burning 2.5kms.
The grooming team have both runs smooth and ready to roll and there is great excitement in resort and many people considering a Thursday trip just to get their first Wombat run in for the 2018 season!

Looking ahead to the weekend the Northside Express, Bonza, Gliders carpet and Grimus chair will all come online opening up plenty of terrain for skiers and boarders to explore. The Northside Express will be open for sightseeing and is also the quickest way for experienced skiers to access the upper mountain direct from the carparks.
