2pm Wed 25 June: Celebrations and smiles across the resort as blizzarding conditions top up the cover with 30cms stacking up in the gauges since Tuesday afternoon.
The welcome top up of snow means the popular Wombat lift is now officially readying to open from Friday afternoon, 27th June, unlocking long fun laps on Little Buller Spur trail for skiers and snowboarders this weekend. The forecast is for clearing skies and sunshine into next week.
Employers in Melbourne are reporting a spike in 'sick day' requests as skiers scramble to get to the slopes!
Local skier Max Bardas got out for some storm laps through the snowgums this morning to test the conditions.
Mt Buller is hosting a spectacular mid-winter celebration of fire, ice, snow and light in the village this Saturday and popular Kids Stay Free offers are available until the end of June.
Happy scenes in the village this morning as the fresh delivery made for loaded tables and a growing population of snowmen and women popping up all over!
PLUS: A nice EOFY bonus applies for guests before 30 June - if you are parking for one or two nights the resort will waive the parking fee. Pay resort entry only and park for free.
