Despite being recognised as the National Championships, you don't actually have to follow an athlete pathway from your local pond skimming club, but the athletes came out in droves and gave us a HUGE show.
Some first-timers, some were seasoned pro's, but overall the talent didn't disappoint and showed Mt Buller exactly what it takes to be a Yak Brewing Pond Skim Champion.
In weather conditions described as cloudy/sunny and snow conditions classed as firm, athletes gathered on Bourke Street run to perform for our judges, who are seasoned sports pro's themselves.
