Housekeeper role in small 16 room hotel located in the village square

Buller Central Hotel is a small 16 room boutique hotel in the village square of Mt Buller. We are located in the same building as Snowfox Boutique and The Villager restaurant and cafe and only only 30 metres from Bourke Street, the main access ski run and lift.
We are seeking experienced two housekeepers with sufficient English skills to work in our small team for the 2026 snow season.
The role involves:
- cleaning and preparing guest rooms for changeovers
- coordinating laundry
- maintaining the presentation and cleanliness of common areas
- liaising with hotel guests
- Reception/check-in duties as required
You will mostly be working in a team of two. Hours average around 20-30 hours per week depending on occupancy and changeovers, however, most work will be in the mornings. The position is for the 2026 snow season which runs from early or mid June to early or mid-September. We have heavily subsidised shared accommodation available on-site for the successful applicants.
Applicants must:
- have previous housekeeping experience
- be fit and healthy
- be honest and trustworthy
- be able to perform the physical work of cleaning and changing beds
- be familiar with the OH&S requirements associated with housekeeping roles and working with relevant chemicals.
- be available to work from June 4 to mid-September
- have sufficient English skills.
