The hotel is located in the heart of the ski village, only a short 50 metres ski to the chairlifts and 100 metres to the ski school. The successful candidate will have a professional, friendly attitude and previous experience in a similar role. Attention to detail, excellent organisation skills and the ability to multitask are key attributes to being successful in this role.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• As the first point of contact at the hotel, we require good grooming, good customer service skills and a professional telephone manner.
• Excellent time management.
• Experience with computer reservations systems, accommodation inquiries, OTA's & wholesaler's.
• Accurate cash balancing, data entry, sound knowledge of Microsoft word/excel/email systems along with excellent attention to detail.
• Must be organised in this busy role, be able to multi-task, have a "can do" positive attitude and able to keep calm and composed under all situations.
• Check In and Check Out of guests.  
• Provide information on facilities at Mt Buller.
• This is a vital role and requires liaising with other departments and directly with the management team.
• Available to commence work mid/late May to mid/end September (depending on snow conditions).
• Willing to work a 6 day week on a rotating roster consisting of morning or afternoon shifts and some split shifts.  
• Foreign nationals must hold a valid Australian Working Holiday Visa subclass 417 or 462
