Located in Alpine Central on level 1 (downstairs), NAMA – the National Alpine Museum of Australia showcases everything from wooden skis, fashion, publications, maps, photographs & films to historic lift equipment & memorabilia. Every year the museum presents a new winter exhibition along with new historic film footage from the collection.
NAMA is the only accredited alpine museum dedicated to conserving & preserving the history of the evolution of the Australian ski fields, telling the amazing stories of the characters that built our Alpine communities.
Curious about Mt Buller’s unique history? Get to know the pioneers & innovators who helped it transform from an alpine cattleman's run into a leading Australian alpine community & resort that it is today.
