Blue Dirt are the exclusive MTB shuttles provider at Mt Buller Resort. Ride down the mountain, and they pick you and your bike up in a bus and take you back to the top. Repeat this as many times as you like within hours of operation.
The incredible trail network at Mt Buller means Blue Dirt have two different shuttle services operating all day.
The Gravity Zone: multiple buses running non-stop 10am to 4pm. Simply jump on the shuttle vehicle when you reach the end of the trail (turn right at trails end and pedal a short distance along the dirt road). The key trails here are Copperhead; ABOM; Outlaw Express and International. People also ride other trails within the bike park and then make their way down to the shuttle to be taken back up to the resort village. The Gravity Zone shuttle collects you from the Lower Tyrol Carpark and drops you on the launchpad at the very top of the gravity trails.
Mirimbah Shuttle: A shuttle bus running from the very bottom of the mountain. This caters to people riding both the Epic Trail and Delatite River Trail. This shuttle leaves from the Mirimbah cafe at scheduled times. We recommend booking in advance – but offer live on the day availability & booking so you can plan your ride. It takes our vehicles 30 – 40 minutes to drive back up the mountain, and is much easier than pedaling.
Shuttles are not compulsory to enjoy the bike park. You can pedal up – it’s free. Yes there is no charge to enter and ride the bike park. As a guide it would take an average rider 60 minutes to pedal from the bottom of the gravity trails to central village; and much, much longer from Mirimbah to the village.
Weekends December until end of April and daily from 27 December - 30 January.
Soul Revival and One Tree Hill are offically open for Summer!
Developmental works on the Mt Buller Mt Stirling Mountain Bike Trail network are well and truly underway! Gang Gangs will be open for the weekend, however some development works are still continuing on the trail, but the track is open to allow riders access to the rest of the trail network. Soul Revival and One Tree are officially open for summer, just in time for our big Summer Season Lunch. Also launching this weekend is the Blue Dirt Shuttle, operating across the gravity zone (ABOM, Copperhead, International and Outlaw) plus Delatite river Trail and Epic Trail. Delatite River trail is completing open, however River Spur is getting its final touch up to make it good for riding.
Our entire MTB trail network will be fully refurbished through the 2021/22 Summer season, thanks to a $1.25m grant funding from the Victorian Government’s Regional Tourism Investment Fund. Taking place over the next several months, the MTB trail network is getting groomed, developed, and manicured to perfection, but until they're ready, there will be the occasional trail closure across the MTB trail network.
