Bike Trail Report

Let's roll!

Updated 28 Nov 24:  This weekend the network is open but due to heavy rains the team have made the call to keep the gravity trails closed for safety and trail preservation. Sorry for any disappointment.

The trail crews have been busy clearing branches and getting the trails buffed out for a great summer of riding.

The report from Contour Works and the local team is that the trails work has gone really well and they are stoked with the state of all the trails, however in the past 48 hours Mt Buller has been drenched with rain and experienced some wild thunderstorms. More heavy rain is forecast for this weekend so please consider the conditions and check the forecast for your plans.

Some final touch ups are taking place at the top of International (look out for some fun updates on that soon) and on Outlaw but everything else is open - although like to be a little on the muddy side.

The bike wash is set up in the village, Blue Dirt shuttles will start to roll from 30 November and Mirimbah Store will open the doors (for beers or a coffee while you wait for your shuttle) from 13 December.

Australian Alpine Epic Trail is still being cleared and made ready for summer. Expected to be open for Christmas and we'll update here and on Bike Buller socials if it's sooner!

Update your Trailforks app, get back in the saddle and get those bike legs ready - we'll see you up here soon.

Autumn Dirt 1

-----------------

Heads up Trigger Happy is now a dedicated descending trail, riders need to return to Buller via Corn Hill Road to the Heli Pad (bottom of Gang Gangs) before heading up the Splitrock climb to the village. Alternatively form Howqua Gap follow the Circuit Rd to River Spur, bomb down that then join onto the Delatite River Trail finishing in Mirimbah.

If you have been keeping up date with the Buller trails you will know how stoked we are after all the refurbishment work in recent years but don’t take our word for it... Flow gives the lowdown here.

The Mt Buller MTB trail network was extensively refurbished in 2022 thanks to a $1.25m grant funding from the Victorian Government’s Regional Tourism Infrastructure Fund
