Kids' Week - July 2024

All week long we're celebrating Mt Buller's smallest guests with special, kid friendly activities on offer each day.

Mt Buller mascots Blake the Flake and Barry the Pygmy Possum will be out and about so make sure if you find them to say g'day.

Monday 1st July - Stewie Koala Day

• Join Blake the Flake, Locky Cocky, Radical Rat and friends for a singalong with Animals of the Magical Mountains Show @ Alpine Retreat 5:20pm
• Twilight skiing on Bourke Street 5pm - 8:30pm

Tuesday 2nd July - Blake the Flake Day

• Snowman building competition - send through an image of your best snow man built today to resort.events@skibuller.com.au to go in the chance to win a prize!
• Have a dance with the Animals of the Magical Mountains Show outside the Ski & Snowboard School, the perfect way to end the day in Ski School! 4:00pm

Wednesday 3rd July - Barry Possum Day

• Marshmallows by the fire - warm up by the Village fires and enjoy some marshmallows 3:00pm - 5:00pm  
• Come see the Animals of the Magical Mountains Show up close at the Village Stage 4:00pm
• Twilight skiing on Bourke Street 5pm - 8:30pm. THE GLOW RUN - Dress in your brightest and hit 'up the Twilight Session

Thursday 4th July - Gnome Day

• Race your mates in the Ski & Snowboard School on Bourke Street for everyone in AM & All Day lessons
• Ever wanted to meet the Buller gnomes up close? Let our experienced gnomeologists show the way. Meet your guides at the Village stage at 10:00am

Friday 5th July - Media Day!

• 6.30am - 9am – ABC Radio Goulburn Murray’s Nic Healey broadcasts from the ABOM all morning – he might even interview you on air!
• 4:00pm - 5:00pm Bounce with the Flying Kangaroos! Join the Australian Aerial Ski team at Buller AirZone. Entry $18pp.
• Twilight skiing continues on Bourke Street!! 5pm - 8:30pm
• Jane Bunn and Ch 7 team are filming LIVE on Bourke Street and you’re invited to be on TV! 4.30pm and 6.30pm

Saturday 6th July - 100th Anniversary of Skiing Mt Buller

• Twilight skiing on Bourke Street 5pm - 8:30pm
• Watch the spectacular flare run come down Bourke Street to celebrate the anniversary of the first ski trip to Mount Buller on July 6th 1924! Best viewing spot is in the Abom Beer Garden on Bourke Street or out side Ski & Snowboard School at 6:15pm 
• FIREWORKS from 6:20pm!!

ALL WEEK LONG

Buller Air Zone open 7 days a week for school holidays!

Weekdays 1:00pm - 6:00pm

Weekends: 12:00pm - 5:00pm

National Alpine Museum Aus (NAMA)

Head down to the National Alpine Museum Aus (NAMA) - Level 1, Alpine Central to make a Bogong Moth, colouring in, 100 Year Quiz and a Mt Buller History Hunt. Museum open from 12pm - 5pm daily. Free entry.

Check out the kids movies on at "Mt Buller Cinema" for a $20 Childs ticket for the cinema during Kids' Week Monday to Friday

Collect your colouring competition sheet from Ski School, Alpine Central or the Clock Tower and drop them in and go into the chance of winning a prize!
