About the event
Queen's Birthday Weekend
Meet Olympians (Sat 11 & SUN 12 June)
Mt Buller Olympians Jakara Anthony, Cam Bolton, Gabi Ash, Doug Crawford, Mia Clift and more will officially open the 2022 Winter Season on Sat 11 June prior to the spectacular opening fireworks display. Then catch them again Sunday morning to celebrate the ski season opening weekend at Bourke St Express.
COME skiing this weekend!
We have had heaps of natural snow this season - so join us for a ski or snowboard on the Queen's Birthday Weekend.
SAT 11 JuNE
VILLAGE STAGE
3:15pm – 3:45pm: Animals of the Magical Mountains
3:45pm – 4pm: Entertainment Break

5:20pm – 5:45pm: Opening Ceremony: Interview with Jakara Anthony/Winter Olympic Athletes & Official Opening by Minister for Energy, Environment & Climate Change, The Hon. Lily D’Ambrosio

6pm – 8pm: Client Liaison (DJ Set)
VILLAGE SQUARE
1pm – 4pm: Community & Experience Stalls - with Face Painting & Free Balloon Animals
1pm – 4pm: Roaming Fire and Ice Performance/s
2pm – 4pm: Free Toasted Marshmallows in Village Square
3pm – 4pm: Meet & Greet with Australian Sled Dogs
4pm – 5pm: Meet & Greet with our Winter Olympic Athletes and free souvenir poster to get autographed!
5:45pm – 6pm: Fireworks Display
SUNDAY 12 JUNE
8.30am -10.30am: Take the first chair of the season and get in some turns with golden girl Jakara Anthony. The Fox FM Black Thunders will be spinning the tunes and doing spot prizes at the bottom of Bourke Street.
1-3pm: Keep an eye out for the Fox FM Black Thunders who will be roaming around handing out prizes!
