A happy, hoppy Easter on top of the world at Mt Buller!

4 April 2016

With clear blue skies heralding a warm day, runners gathered in the Mt Buller Village Square for the 9th Mt Buller Fun Run. Nearly 400 participants, aged from 7 months to 70 years, completed four different courses, including the new 14.5km Mountain Madness. Winners, including Chantal Minchin and Craig Appleby took away cash prizes and Salomon goodies.

Easter Sunday’s traditional Giant Easter Egg Hunt saw hundreds of happy kids scampering across the resort in search of thousands of chocolate eggs. Easter Bunny hopped in for a special guest appearance while Barry Pygmy Possum and his Magical Mountain Friends kept the crowds entertained.

Guests made the most of the sunshine throughout the weekend, enjoying the range of activities on offer including scenic chairlift rides, mountain bike classes, yoga and guided trail runs. Mt Buller’s beloved Huskies toured guests around the village environs on a dryland sled, and kids hunted the ski fields for clues in the inaugural Junior Navigation Challenge.

Mt Buller proved once again what an ideal location it is for an Easter escape, with visitors from far and wide making the most of the activities and events on offer.
