2015-16 Summer Gate Operations

This summer, Resort Management will be manning the gate located at the resort entrance at the bottom of the mountain to gather accurate data about Mt Buller and Mt Stirling’s summer visitor market. This information will be used to guide things like future summer infrastructure developments and programs, so is important information for the resort.

Having staff at the gate will also provide a visitor information point for all resort visitors, where they can find out which bars, cafes and restaurants are open, and how to best access the summer resort experience.

As such, all vehicles looking to enter Mt Buller or Mt Stirling must pass through the entry gate when it is open (as indicated by digital signage at the gate) throughout the summer period. Any oversized vehicles or cars with bikes mounted to their roof that are too big to pass through the gate area must pull alongside the main office instead, where they will be met by staff.

On behalf of Mt Buller Mt Stirling Resort Management, we wish you a safe and happy holiday period and look forward to seeing you on top of the world at Mt Buller over the summer months.
