Foodies and wine connoisseurs will be in culinary heaven when the annual Picnic in the Park food, wine and music festival returns to picturesque Mirimbah Park on Sunday 13 March. Held from 11am-5pm, Picnic in the Park will enable visitors to experience the beauty of the High Country in autumn and sample quality local produce from an excellent array of stallholders, including local wineries and breweries, gourmet food producers and eateries. There will also be face painting and activities for kids, as well as a sensational lineup of musical acts who will entertain picnickers all afternoon.

Visitors can sample and purchase food and beverages from a range of local producers, including wines, beer and cider from Delatite Winery, Ros Ritchie, Barwite Vineyard, Snob’s Creek Vineyard and Tin Shed Cider. Plus there’ll be a great variety of local food producers and caterers including Locheilan Cheese, Kranksy Kart, The Mill Inn, Mansfield Ice-cream, the Mansfield Produce Store, Kill for a Coffee, Mrs Sweets Cakes and more. A complimentary bus will transport picnic-goers from Mt Buller to Mirimbah Park and back, providing a wonderful opportunity for visitors to take a look around the beautiful alpine Village or make the most of the accommodation deals available on the mountain.

“There is so much happening at Mt Buller and the surrounding area over the Labour Day long weekend, and it really is it a fantastic time to visit. The GT Bike Buller Festival presented by Fox is our signature mountain bike event, with plenty of action for riders and spectators alike, said John Huber, Chief Executive Officer, Mt Buller Mt Stirling Resort Management Board. “Picnic in the Park is the perfect way to spend an afternoon in our charming region. Mirimbah is a spectacular location for an event like Picnic in the Park, with the Delatite River running right by the park and plenty of grass to put down a rug and enjoy some beautiful food and wine.”

Entry to Picnic in the Park is $15 and includes a souvenir glass and a glass of wine. A free shuttle will run from Mt Buller to the event. For further information on the Bike Buller MTB Festival presented by Fox and Picnic in the Park, as well as accommodation deals, visit mtbuller.com.au.
