Tobogganing

Toboggans cannot be brought into the Mt Buller village - they are supplied for use within the toboggan parks only.

To improve the experience for tobogganners of all ages our capacity-managed toboggan parks are dedicated slopes for sliding and fun!

Pre-purchase your toboggan pass for $15 (children under 1m tall slide free with a paying adult). 

• Your pass includes a toboggan and access to two dedicated toboggan parks. 
• Toboggans are provided for your use inside the toboggan parks, for the safety of all resort guests.

Locations

Mt Buller's two designated, capacity managed toboggan areas have their own snowmaking for a generous cover of snow for sliding!  One is located in the day car park next to Celia's Kiosk and the other is up in our alpine Village.  The Village toboggan park offers three graded runs from beginner to advanced and a seating area.

Please note the following points for your safety when tobogganing:

• Do not have more than one person on the toboggan at any one time
• Do not form toboggan trains (linking people on other toboggans)
• Do not stand up whilst tobogganing
• Always remain in control of toboggan and steer to avoid contact with other users of the area
• Walk up the side of the slope to avoid collision
• Tobogganing only permitted in two designated areas at Mt Buller - Toboggan Slope in the car park next to Celia's, and on the Village Toboggan Slope
