Coaches, Schools and Tour Operators

The resort entry fee is charged per person travelling on a coach, or with a commercial or tour operator, or school groups, or vehicles with more than 10 passengers. This fee is usually included in the ticket price by commercial operators.

Resort entry permits fee can be pre-purchased online up to midnight before day of arrival, or upon arrival at the Mirimbah entry gate.

For private groups including school groups, if you know license plate for the vehicle you’re travelling in, you can purchase your resort entry permit online and pre-print your entry dashboard pass - no need to stop at the entry gate.

  Wheel chains must always be carried.

Parking is available at the Horse Hill bus precinct, approximately 1.5kms below the Mt Buller Village.

Passengers on a day trip can catch the free shuttle bus that operates from day car parks at Horse Hill to the Mt Buller Village.

Passengers staying overnight will need to purchase ride share to transport them directly from the bus park to their accommodation.

Vehicles are not permitted to access the Mt Buller Village.

Coaches (with more than 35 seats) may be able to access the Village Transit Hub in the Mt Buller Village for 15 minutes drop off, dependent on availability of bus bays. Additional fees apply. Coaches are not permitted to drive around the Village.
