Yes! Mt Buller is approximately a three hour drive from Melbourne year-round. During the snow season there are also coach and helicopter transfers available.

Horse riding is permitted in the Mt Stirling Resort from 1 November and 30 April each year, without a permit. There are several trail riding operators offering day and overnight ride experiences. Enjoy time in the saddle beneath the tall mountain ash forests and channel your inner 'Man from Snowy River".
Horses are only permitted in the Mt Buller Alpine Resort under a valid Commercial Operator Licence or Authority. To find out more visit the ARV website
- In summer you can drive straight up to the Mt Buller village without charge and find free parking throughout the resort.
