2025 King's Birthday Weekend
The season celebrations begin this King's Birthday long weekend - and there is plenty of SNOW on the forecast to add to the wintry magic!
Mt Buller offers guaranteed skiing from Saturday 7 June and that is just the beginning! There will be sightseeing chairlift rides, snowplay, live music and plenty of fun to keep you busy on and off the snow. Bookmark this page as the program is growing by the day - snowballing you could say!
SATURDAY 7TH JUNE
8:30am First chair @ Bourke Street Express.
Be one of the first to make some turns for the season and we'll see you at the front of the line for first chair for 2025! Rub shoulders with locals, Olympians and the wonderful Mt Buller Ski Patrol who kick off their 75 year milestone this winter!
10am-4pm The Buller Biathlon brings excitement to the Sports Hall in Alpine Central with a free laser target shooting experience with local biathlete and Mt Buller Ambassador Boris Stanish! Discover the thrill of this unique winter sport and learn from an elite athlete.
10am - 4.30pm - Sightseeing rides are available on the Northside Express chairlift - ride high up the mountain for spectacular views and why not take a walk over to Koflers for a coffee? Layer up warmly and take lots of photos!
11am-1.30pm Warren Smith performs on the Village Stage to welcome winter with your favourite tunes. Enjoy a dance around the firepits while Woz brings the live music vibes.
12pm-5pm FREE Face painting - become a snow angel, tiger or whatever you dream of!
1-3pm FREE toasted marshmallows in the village. Do you like yours crispy and burnt or just melted? Warm up around the firepits and enjoy this simple and sweet winter pleasure!
2-2:30pm Animals of the Magical Mountain Show on the Village Stage. Stewie Koala, Lachy Cockie and friends will sing and dance and bring all the fun for the kids (and grown ups) with your favourite tunes. Fa la la la a!
3-3:45pm Meet and Greet with Jakara Anthony, Olympic Athlete
3-4pm DJ Piero brings the beats on the Village Stage to get the opening weekend party started!
4-4:15pm The Opening Declaration for the 2025 winter season on the Village Stage - let's make it official
4.15-5:45pm Nite Theory take over for a set on the Village Stage as the sunsets and the anticipation to fireworks begins...
5:45-6pm Don't miss the spectacular season-starting fireworks display in the village.
6-7pm Jake Webb performs on the Village Stage for more tunes into the evening.
Buller Air Zone is open throughout the weekend for bouncing, climbing and jumping fun for the family. Book your session and enjoy!
The National Alpine Museum will be open with new displays and packed with stories and artefacts celebrating all things alpine history.
SUNDAY 8TH JUNE
